We shared dreams, created much, helped advance others and moved medical research forward. I met Arnie when the world was adopting computers into everyday business use. He brought a vision, a work ethic, systems development and love of family into sharp focus for me. A serious professional with a human side few attain. In a time when computer applications needed to be built rather than purchased, those that he developed performed for years without bugs or interruption. Planning meetings always included personal reflections of family and kids, because they were as important to him as anything we worked on. Successful outcomes were universally sought, same day product delivery, timely customer service, kids first jobs, family events were intertwined and enjoyed. As his "boss" I never lost sight of the fact he was in charge, leading me and our company to a better place. The advances medical science has mad in the past 50 years resulted from contributions of those like Arnie. A truly dedicated professional that I was so lucky to have worked with and known. When I reflect on the thousands of products marketed and the thousands of researchers that relied on our firm over the decades, Arnie stands out as my guardian angel and we did not fail because he would not allow it. My condolences to his family and assurance that he lived to succeed in every aspect of his being. We share a profound loss.
Love, Bob Ludovico, EVP NE Nuclear and a friend of Arnie
