Our Heritage

In January of 1950, the late Murray H. Goldman established the Goldman Funeral Home at 174 Ferry Street in Malden. Today in the same location, the Goldman family owned and operated tradition of personalized service is being continued through his son Harvey Goldman and grandson Jay A.Goldman.

Goldman Funeral Home 1950

Goldman Funeral Chapel

Over the years many changes to the business and facility have occurred. In 1991, the name was changed to Goldman Funeral Chapel. Our current facility is properly ramped for handicap accessibility on the chapel level, the chapel seats 175 with ample additional standing room available, valet parking by our attendants is an appreciated service, which gives us the ability to park over 50 cars in our parking lot.

In 1984, the Fisher Funeral Home was purchased and their facility in Lawrence at  Lowell at Warren St. was closed. Though we still maintain the Fisher records, we the Goldman Fisher Funeral Chapel as known in the Merrimack Valley, have provided our quality Goldman service at graveside or synagogues throughout the Merrimack Valley.
